Sculpted by the incomparable Erramir Orlan of Peculiar Companions, these Arquebusiers are intended for armies from the 15th and 16th Centuries. This set of 3D models with three variations of two different poses All models come as both pre-supported and unsupported STL files.

The arquebusiers revolutionized Russian warfare by providing long-range firepower that complemented traditional infantry formations. This enabled Russian commanders to adopt new tactics, enhancing their ability to engage and disengage from the enemy. The arquebusiers were known for their precision marksmanship, often playing a decisive role in battles.

Notable Battles:

Battle of Molodi (1572): The arquebusiers played a pivotal role in the Battle of Molodi, where they faced off against the Crimean Tatars. Their disciplined ranks and accurate musket fire helped secure a significant victory for Russia.

Siege of Kazan (1552): During the siege of Kazan, the arquebusiers provided crucial support to Ivan the Terrible's army. Their long-range firepower played a key role in breaching the city walls, leading to the eventual capture of Kazan.

Ivan the Terrible's Reign: The reign of Ivan the Terrible, who ruled from 1547 to 1584, saw the rise of the arquebusiers to prominence. These skilled marksmen were instrumental in expanding and consolidating Ivan's empire.

Advancements in Firearms: The use of arquebuses by Russian troops marked a significant advancement in military technology during the 15th and 16th centuries. This period witnessed the gradual transition from traditional weaponry to firearms, forever changing the dynamics of warfare in Russia.

Printing at 100% resolution will yield a true 28mm miniature. Prints at 105% are slightly more in scale with Perry Miniatures and 110% prints will be in a compatible scale with Warhammer Fantasy miniatures.
